Hi there! I am Doug Nelson.
I am a husband to my beautiful wife Sharon for 30 years, father of 3 beautiful daughters, and most importantly I am a man who has been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Born into a normal family in 1967 in Rhode Island, I went through the early part of life not thinking much about the meaning of life or God in general. That all changed in 1983 when I had a radical encounter with Jesus Christ and life was never the same.
I began studying scripture, leading worship, and teaching at our local church. After a few decades of serving in our home state, my wife and I left Rhode Island to pursue a life devoted to God in Florida, seeking to do His will while we are still on this Earth.
Through many years of walking with Jesus, He has taught me so much and thus I have created a space where you can glean from the lessons He has taught me.
